I’ve used nikon milvus in the past - haven’t used the DZO. If you have a FIZ you can invert the rotation direction to get rid of Nikon backward focus. The focus ramping near infinity is difficult to work with. Hard for focus puller to get used to.
If you are a one man band, pulling directly off lens, I think you could get used to it and be very happy with the milvus. They are excellent in terms of quality and flare resistance. I prefer to own glass with character and rent if I need a clean look, so I eventually sold the milvus as they were a little sterile.
For LF shooting I’ve really enjoyed using the Canon Sumire lenses. Not too expensive to rent, clean but not sterile from 2.8 on - wide open they have a very nice quality, but only problem is depth of field is too shallow on LF - looks great in b-roll but hard to control for an actual scene.
