Kine Evf Position

Hi there !

We will shoot our first project soon with the camera 😉

We have to shoot on a shoulder Rig.

Do you have an idea how I could bring the Evf to the front of the camera ?

Here is the actual position

We would like it more over there

Yes. It’s maybe not perfect but I think it works great. No problems on my end and I get to position the viewfinder for perfect balance on shoulder with out adding additional weight on the back end of the camera.

hey @Balkan and @Ivar_Cameraman this is indeed a smart way to mount it. another way will come later this year but maybe less sturdy, and thats an adapter for the evf mount to arri locator pin , so you can use a noga arm.

New to the forum. Just received our Edge here in NYC - we had the same question but it looks like Kinefinity’s US shop doesn’t carry this EVF bracket - do you sell the bracket mentioned by Ivar to US customers? (https://gafpagear.com/product/kineevf-viewfinder-mounting-bracket/)

wayne Hey Wayne we are willing to sell this to you, but its very cumbersome, shipping will be expensive , you have to pay import fees, etc etc. Lets first see if we can find an easier solutions. Would you mind to connect with Kinefinity US? Iam sure they can import this item for you from China and have this shipped to you in their next outbound shipment from CHina to USA. @Jerome (or anyone else) - out of curiosity, are there other EVF brackets that might work with the Kine EVF or is the hotshoe Kine specific. I did reach out to Kine US, but it looks like we won’t have stock of the alternate bracket until later.

wayne hey wayne, we are working on a simple adapter so you can use it with any noga arm. We ve ordered a few, but the mechnical designer is a bit slow, however we expect those items in february and will update you accordingly
