The Kinefinty MAVO Edge behaves nicely with the Kipon Medium Format focal reducer 0.7X, the same as with the MAVO LF, since these two cameras share the same sensor dimensions.
The MAVO Edge has a 135 sensor. 36X24mm
since the focal reducer of Kipon can reduce Medium formats by a factor of 0.7X its pretty simple to make calculations.
A 35mm medium format lens with the kipon focal reducer has a equavalent field of view as a 24.5mm lens without the Kipon speed booster (35X0.7 = 24.5)
depth of view is easy to understand, a 35mm on s16, a hasselblad, or whatever camera you like wont change in terms of dof, only the crop (angle of view) changes. Dof is jointly determined by the F stop/focal length. YOu can use online DOF calculators.. If you take a medium format 35 and put it on the kipon on the mavo edge it will be a very wide lens (same angle of view as a 24.5mm without the speedbooster), so you see more.. Any dof calculator online will help you with that, all you need to know is the focal point, and f stop and distance to object.
SO keep it simple for yourself!
