Hey mister Lynch,
The Kinemags have a special feature called deep format, which can be executed inside camera, please note that this only works for Kinefinity KInemag Ssd 2.5 inch .
In order to execute a ‘deep format’ You have to go inside calibration mode.
entering calibration mode
Put the camera off, and make sure the Kinemag is installed. Press the menu button and hold while powering the camera for 3 long seconds.
The camera will boot inside ‘ calibration mode’ , when you succeeded doing so, a small yellow line on your monitor will tell you you’re are in ‘calibration mode’ .
Now simply format the drive like you normally do by going inside the menu,/ shooting, and format the card, it will automatically do a deep format. Only do a deep format when the cards are not able to keep up and show a ‘ flushing’ sign.
If your still having difficulties shooting high fos, or high resolutions/codecs. Please deactive the ‘preview ’ files, which can sometimes bottleneck the writing capabilities if you r int he highest resolution/codec (444)
Let us know if you have any questions./
