Does the Mavo Edge 8K employ any Internal Sharpening for Images?

I know that the Red cameras don’t use any internal sharpening for images. I just thought I would ask if Kinefinity didn’t use any internal sharpening as well.

RandThompson no additional sharpening. However reds debayer algorithms are focused towards edge enhancement while kinefinities are focused towards smoothness. Also the olpf is quite strong in the Edge, if your looking for unreal sharp images the Edge is not the right choice.

Thanks for this info. I have had cameras in the past where I never could completely defeat the camera’s internal sharpening. I would like to use whatever sharpening if any method of my own choosing not what’s inherent from the camera. I’m really glad to know that no Internal sharpening is done in-camera in the Mavo Edge.
