SDI Connection Procedure-Plugging In and Removal

I know that the Video 1 and 2 connectors on the front of the Mavo Edge are not on the same Circuit Board as the SDI inputs. However, with both RED and ARRI there is a specific procedure to plug-up and un-plug the SDI cables in order not to Fry the circuit board when using additional on-board accessories. Does the Kinefinity Mavo Edge have a similar procedure as both RED and ARRI as to not accidentally fry your circuit board with attached accessories, or is this not a problem with Kinefinity cameras?

Hey, Like ARRI says use the right shielded cables. This has to do with capacitors which can die, every AC on filmschool will learn how to properly do cables, this should be studied by everyone, this is not really news in terms that it only effects these new cameras, cable management should be taken seriously, as a rule of thumb i you dont know what your doing, always first attach all accessories and power supplies to them before you power up a camera. ,
