Kinefinity TERRA 4K | ARRI conversion Luts

So we have been very busy making new technical conversion LUTS for the Kinefinity Terra 4K. the TERRA 4K is quite off in terms of how it sees colors, some prefer its inherent mojo others feel that especially in skin tones, and reds the camera underperforms and lacks separation and skews to orange. Here at GAFPA GEAR we can proudly say we completely fixed it, and the TERRA 4K looks amazing with our transforms 🙂 we took it out over the weekend to make a lot of real life shots, to extensively test it, and do some minor changes and compromises, and its now live on our website! looking forward to everyone’s thoughts!

Jerome and his team do a lot for this community and they deserve both praise and honest feedback.

Yesterday I purchased the new TERRA 4K LUTPACK and I immediately opened Resolve to see if the Arri Log-C conversion lut could help my camera with its problems in the red/orange zone.

Here’s a frame from a test shot I did few months ago to try out the Aivascope 1.5x on my Terra 4k.

Log files both with and without the conversion lut, quickly colored files (w/ kodak 2393 print film emulation lut) both with and without the conversion lut.

Tweaks are needed, obviously, but even by just combining this conversion lut with the 2393 I see color separation between her skin and her shirt. The green area comes to life too, and I noticed so many other improvements I can say it feels like having a new camera.
