SantaMonicaAnamorphic Hi Guys, I’m curious to know if anyone on here has been watching The Sandman on Netflix or has insights / speculations on how it was shot? To me it looks like lots of anamorphic barrel distortion. It also looks like they may have intentionally not fully de-squeezed the image? It feels like it adds to the obscure super natural vibe and I really like the look most of the time. But maybe they took it too far? It seems like some people really did not like it and found it too much… See the article below in variety.
